Engineer first, frameworks second.
I am Mihai, a senior backend engineer based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. I code for fun as much as for work.
The short version
I started with PHP and never stopped being curious. Over the years I moved through Symfony, Laravel, Node.js, Go and Python, always picking the tool that fits the problem rather than the one that fits the CV.
Today I build APIs and internal platforms, and I spend a lot of time on the parts nobody sees: test infrastructure, CI pipelines, profiling and the agent workflows that let a small team ship like a big one.
Outside of work I build my own products, from a telemedicine platform to a browser game on Cloudflare Workers.

Beyond work
Amateur photographer with a Fujifilm X100VI. I love training my dog, and I’m passionate about the gym and lifting.
